REGISTRATIONS ARE CLOSED. No more tickets are available for this event. Please consider attending the World Record Star Gazing attempt on the ANU main campus on Friday 21 August or the next Mt Stromlo Public Astronomy night on Friday 25 September.

A special "Scouts" astronomy night at Mount Stromlo Observatory during National Science Week 2015! Kid friendly talks, star gazing, supporting program materials and more! Organised by Les Explorateurs Scout Group in collaboration with Mount Stromlo Observatory, on behalf of Scouts Australia (ACT Branch).

What's cost?

National Science Week funding means we can offer this event free to all Scouts Australia and Girl Guides Australia members and their families.

What are the supervision requirements?

Supervision is to be provided by the adults and Leaders of attending youth members. Separates tickets required for the supervising adults and leaders too.

How do I get my limited edition Reach for the Stars badge?

The first 1000 Scouts Australia and Girl Guides Australia members who attend on the night will receive a limited edition Scouts ACT - Reach for the Stars badge. Remember to bring along your Eventbrite registration to swap over for your badge. Scouts Australia (ACT Branch) members have approval to wear on their uniform (on the right side of the chest).
